So here it is. I have a 120g reef. I have a leopard wrasse in there now. What I am want to know is can I keep him and a whip fin wrasse in the same tank. I know these fish are pretty tempered. Does anyone know about these two going together

I would think that would work, especially with the leopard already established. Rarely have I seen my leopards pay any attention to Cirrhilabrus or vice versa.

IME Leopard Wrasses are one of the most well behaved of the entire Family. My Ornate Leopard is just one of five Wrasses currently in my 125g DT, peacefully getting along with a pair of Solar Wrasses, adult male Melanurus and juvenile Yellow Coris.

Cheers, Todd

Whipfins can be a bit aggressive once established, mostly toward fairy and flasher wrasses, but I have seen them give chase to Halichoeres and juvie leopards as well. As long as the leopard is established and larger than the whipfin, I dont foresee any problems.
