Hi! So I’m setting up a new 150 gallon (5x2x2), looking for two types of wrasse that can go in the same tank, I love leopard wrasses but I heard they can be too timid with some of my other fish, I have 3 tangs that already that are going into that tank and one of them is decently aggressive

I'm no expert, but my impression is that wrasses and tangs, at least if well-fed, get along fairly well. Tangs are usually aggressive with other fish that have similar body shapes. For example, a Zebrasoma is likely to bully other Zebrasomas, might go for a paracantharus/naso, could possibly look at a foxface or laterally compressed angel, but will only go after wrasses if it's in a murderous mood. Have you noticed your tangs being aggressive to non-tang fish?

I have a powder blue that’s aggressive to my foxface and mono argentus, but I feel like a lot of that is they’re in a temporary holding system that is way too small for them, and I added them in after the powder blue was already established, when I transfer everything over to the 150, the tangs will be going in last, overall, I’m more concerned with other wrasses picking on each other

Oh, Powder Blue, you should've said. I don't think the Powder Blue is actually a tang; it's a spawn of Cthulhu made to look like a Tang.

In a 150 like yours, I would stick to one big beautiful Wrasse; my three favorite: Paddlefin, Lunare, Banana. If you ‘were’ to try two, I would have them the same size and introduce them at the same time. Note that at least the Lunare sleeps in a mucus type cocoon in the rock— not the sand. Best wishes!

Check out @evolved 's information on wrasses. It is extensive and fantastic. I believe he has given speeches at MACNA, as well, over ornamental wrasses. I'm not sure if forum rules allow me to link it directly, but check out his website!
