Couldn't get a video up, but thoughts on 75g aquascape appreciated, regardless it was a blast to make and a nightmare to install (kept banging into other pieces and breaking.. darn center divider on top of tank). Glass cleaner clears structure on all sides. Tried to pay attention to flow and lights and area for fish to go. Plans are to start with some softies/ lps and make every mistake possible along the way ;)

that’s gonna look sweet, give us some idea of which corals and where (you said softies and lps but some sps would look cool on some of them outcrops)
Well a mixed set up would be what I want to work my way up to. The two jebao 40 wavemakers have a decent flow now set on lowest ( extra food travels all around the tank and doesnt settle for long.. I have them set to alternating right now ) The branches don't touch so plenty of opportunity for corals that spread while being contained.. I hope.
Really haven't decided what is going where yet, but will start with beginner/easy stuff.

Only thing I am currently considering is a xenia in back left corner as this is where I am planning to start. Flow there is a lower and offer some height. Possibly anthelia instead.
Multiple zoas are on the planned additions, utilizing some of the different branches.
Have one island dead center that I'll want something as a show piece.. but that is undecided.

I currently have a 8 light t5 and only have 4 bulbs in, two white, 2 acintic. I know they are not needed yet, but run them 12 hours with first and last just being acintics. Figure the clowns can at least get use to schedule.
Tank just finished cycling and has just the two clowns and 6 blue legged hermits for now.

Great looking aquascape! Can already envision those beautiful acro colonies growing on the top structures! Well done!
Thankyou, really just watched BRS video on negative space aquascape and decided I want the structure to be me.. so started with it. Actually only took a day to make.. accelerant was my best friend ;)
No saltwater experience so just taking advice and researching my way through.

That is one of the nicest nsa aquascapes I've ever seen and I researched the hell out of nsa aquascapes watching tons of videos on it for over a year as wanted mine like yours.
When come to gluing it together I decided half nsa and then lots if caves in centre pieces for fish to retreat to and sleeping quarters for my 10 ish fishes I decided to have.
But I like it hoe you got little contact with rocks on sandbed and that area bottom left looks great.
Once you get your corals on that scape and they grow In it will look fantastic if plan/ research what corals to put where and how fast/ slow they expected to grow etc.

Bravo good job ^_^

Looks amazing from the front! How did you come up with it?
Well I started with one piece and wanted an overhang and to see how well and long it would come together and how to support it.. just testing it out. It did so pretty easily and then I decided to make others just flow in same direction. I wanted and formed a little cove in the middle.. that where the seperate island is . Added one in reverse direction on the right just to fill in lower section and give another arch. Really I just let the pieces go where they wanted as I broke the chunks up ;)
Was a little nicer before it went into tank, couple mishaps and basically broke every piece going in, one long branch fell on top of others.. last piece going in and broke everything.. some pieces just didn't glue back together the same.. but when corals come it won't matter lol

Thanks so much. Just went and did what came to me and figured it was wrong and probably will not fit needs at some point... but at least as a new tank I can sit back and just watch a couple clowns and crabs right now and enjoy it while the rest comes together.
