Just for the pics so the blue doesn’t distort. My lights run for 10 hours daily. They’re “full blast” for four hours, and the other 6 are three of ramping up and the last 3 are actinic - so everything except for the deep blue and violet is off.
“Full blast” is
Channel 1 - 6
Channel 2 - 6
Channel 3 - 40
Channel 4 - 30
Channel 5 - 70
Channel 6 - 18
I have the photon V2+ 24inch.
My tank is 25.6.25” wide, 15.625” deep, and 18.5” tall.

How are you dosing alkalinity?
I have a high salinity tank ("uncalibrated" hydrometer gave me false readings) and SPS, and once I started cranking up kalkwasser, it got to a point where my sps all started dying. I think it had to do with swings in alkalinity and the high salinity. Now that the alk is lower and salinity is getting lower, I'm not having the issue and they stopped dying.

im not dosing anything yet. I bought a two part dosing pump but it didn’t work out of the box and I’m trying to get the manufacturer to honor their warrantybut I have not received a reply.

An update, I brought the salinity back to 1.026 and did a pair of 10 gallon water changes. I also started dosing phosphates. The STN stopped within 3 days in all the corals and the digitiadas and stylo with spotty polylp extension are back to full extension. The reef never looked better.
