Component 1 discoloration?

Hello Aquaforest,

I just started dosing component's 1,2,3 and noticed the color for comp 1 has a yellowish tinge to it. Is this normal? Also when checking underneath in the sump i noted some yellow sediment on the bottom of the dosing container for comp 1. Just curious that is all as the other 2 components are crystal clear.

Yes that is normal for component 1+ to be discolored.

Its the iron part of component 1. It gets a bit precipitated overtime. You can mix it up by shaking it.
