Hello Reef2Reef well I have a question about a new tank I am looking at purchasing from a local seller. The tank is a 120 rimless eurobraced with starphire on the two end panels and front panel. It has a glass holes overflow already drilled as well as two returns in either corner. My concern is the tank has never seen water! and has been sitting for aprox. two years. Do I need to worry about the silicone being dried or any structural integrity being lost from sitting in a basement for two years with blankets covering the glass and top?

You can't have the seller fill it up before you buy it? I would be worried if they would not allow you to test it. I have pulled out a tank from storage that was more then 2 years old and fill it up with no problems. However, the ones that I pulled out did not cost as much as the tank stated above so I would be much more careful with that amount of risk. So, I would deff ask the seller to fill it and offer to pay for the water.
