Hey, I bought a really nice looking RBTA the other day that has really nice looking purple tips on the ends of its tentacles. I floated it for ~30min and then I drip aclimated it for about 45min to an hour. I turned all the PHs off and put in it and it moved around a little and then anchored down in a cravice in my rock. My rock is Pukani rock I got from BRS and it is crazy pourous so there are tons of places to hide and I like that about it. The issue is that a few hours afer the nem anchord down in that crevice, it moved deeper and deeper into the rock and is not so far in there that I cant even see it except from above and even then I can only see a tiny bit of it. I know that nems kinda do what they want and all but it has been down there and hasnt moved for over 36hrs now and I am a little concerned. My primary concern is that it may die down in there and I will not be able to reach it to remove it.

It is still all nice and colorful from what I can see so maybe it is fine and just getting use to the tank, I just dont want it to die down in that hole where I cant get it. Any suggestions?

it should be fine. when I first got my nem, it found a hole and was in there for days. it will move if it doesn't like the spot.

Gotta concur with moving if its not happy. Very hard to sit still and listed to that, but I have two. And believe me, it is true. I had one fall into a rock also, and it was able to get out just fine.
