Concerned About Mandarin

Yeah I feel like an idiot. I need to get a fully stocked fish med kit.
I was thinking the same thing about him probably not making it. He now stops breathing for a few seconds. No more serious gasping.
I have a battery one. I will get that going.

RIP. TT.TT

Well...next time we see something like that, we'll know better than to let it go. It will not be for nothing.

Thank you so much, Eienna. You were one of the very few people to give suggestions and support.

You're welcome...
A lot of people are afraid to touch something like this...afraid to be wrong and get blamed. I know full well I'm not an expert, and could easily be wrong, but personally I feel that if you have some clue (and I've been learning a lot about fish diseases) it's better to try and fail than to leave someone floundering in a fairly obvious emergency, at least as long as you make it clear when you aren't certain. I just wish I could have been more help.

So sad to see that he didn't make it. I was really hoping he'd just get better. Perhaps I'm naive in that way.
To me even losing a fish is like losing a person. Each one has its own little life and frankly we're completely responsible for their care and well-being. (Though there's little you could have done for him in this case)
Hope his is better the next time around.
