I am very new to duncans, so this may be much ado about nothing. However, I need to ask. My duncan is showing some tentacles that look damaged today, which they did not yesterday. Here is the before and after:

Nothing is close enough to sting it. All heads are showing similar symptoms. Inverts include blue legs, snails, brittle star, and CBS.

You have absolutely nothing to worry about IMO. Looks completely healthy. If it closes up or the base begins to peel away, then i would be concerned.

looks great, still has great color and is opened up so you good to go. Now enjoy its growth!
You can target feed it and it will grow a little faster if you didnt know already. Enjoy

looks good, just looks like those couple of tentacles arent fully expanded they may have caught some debris in the current or some may have brushed against it. i woulnt worry. i target feed mine it loves mysis

It is back to fully expanded and then some. Thanks all. As for target feeding, it loves chunks of silversides.

I had one that started out with two heads and target fed it mysis and it went from two to eight heads in no time but I ended up having to sell it along with other stuff when I had hit hard times.

Nice looking duncans.. Im with the above poster. I had one head and spot fed it mysis shrimp every other night and it went from one head to a big ball of heads in a few months,, It grew so fast that I need to place it in another space very soon as it is way too close to other corals..
