concerned for my chalice, zoa's overtaking them

How can i save my chalice without harming the zoa, don't think i can break the rock it is pretty thick.

Have you tried cutting them back? You can always reglue them somewhere else in the tank or sell them.

I thought it was dangerous to mess with them, the slime when you try to remove them? I've never tried, honestly until i changed to radions they were not growing. They've come out of nowhere LOL.

How do i get them off the rock? I can remove the rock, but i have 4 small chalice on it and don't want to harm them.

Are those zoas or palys? They appear to be invasive palys. I hope that they aren't as they are difficult to remove. I had to throw whole rocks away to get rid of them.

They will take over your tank!!!
Best is to remove the coral from the rock, not the zoas, and give the rock full of zoas to the LFS.
The zoas located among the other corals, you'll need to scrape them off and syphon them out at the same time while doing water changes.

Brake the rock. Hammer and chisel or screw driver!!!!

Hammer and chisel, split the rock. Much easier than it sounds. Gloves if you handle the palys, but more important, safety glasses.
