Mine has hosted my frogspawn for over 4 years in 3 different tanks.
Its 18+ head now with no issues.

My Clownfish has started hosting my Torch Coral and I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing
Its a bad thing that your torch coral has been chosen to host clownfish, by clownfish

I've got a stupid clownfish doing similar and over time my corals (including frogspawn) are getting smaller. I've got a mini-me blue tang that had a clownfish jump in its acclimation box, so it thinks it is a clownfish (they are about same size but blue tang started out smaller). Ever since it got released, it tries to pal around with clownfish. Right side clownfish harem more aggressive where anemones located, so it moved to middle, then decided to hang out with left side clown. Left side clownfish goes and tickles its belly on corals ... blue tang follows behind doing the exact same thing... Mini-me behavior with Nemo and Dory ... not their names... Clownfish doesn't have a name (have 7... its just the one banished to the left side by the other clowns) and Sookie is blue tang. SO... yes it is cute in my tank if I don't factor in what these past few weeks have been doing to my corals.

I have pulsing xenia hosting two other clownfish, Xenia doesn't seem to care and that has been going on even longer. Wondering if initial size of coral is factor... the pictured frogspawn from @90's reefer likely similar to my xenia size (small afro) but my impacted corals are smaller, so its the soft fleshy parts fish rubbing instead of lower branch/stem/etc

No one had any suggestions for me on how to get corals UN-hosted... but they did point out I had Nemo and Dory... LOL ... I will watch your thread in case anyone offers UN-Hosting advice.

I think every host can be different.
My clown is all over the frogspawn with no ill effects. It was only 4-5 heads when I got it. It did seem aggravated at first but just keeps getting bigger. I have taken about 10 heads from it also.

Watch for black spots like in the thread link

That's quite the accomplishment
