Conch and red leg hermit crab-is the conch safe

I am planning on getting 2 tiger sand conches for my 150g tank. I have one red leg hermit crab that I am not sure if he will eat/kill the conches.

Does anyone have experience with them together?

I have several small hermits with a florida conch and they never even look at it don't think there should be any problem
