Any idea on what species this is and is it reef safe? Came on some fresh live rock.

Whelk snail and will attack other snails and cause issues. Needs to go

Literally as you guys are saying this he is untop of another snail. Time to go to the critter tank. Also found some of these, are these sundial snails munching around.

I don't think those are sundial snails. Where was the live rock from? The Caribbean?

It was, we live in PR. And we take dry rock every year and set it in the coral lagoon behind the house. I pulled these out this weekend they've been behind the house for 18 months.

Those look to be nerite snails, check this article about a quarter way down for a photo that looks the same or Google "nerite snails reef" https://reefs.com/magazine/aquarium-invertebrates-nerites-bleeding-tooth-zebras-checkers-and-more/
Thanks m8 you were spot on, everyone on this forum is so invaluable. I've been out of the saltwater game for the last 10 years. Now that the kids aren't babies anymore and I've hit the 30 hump figured I'd jump full ahead back in.

My wife and I seed around a one ton of dry rock a year the last 3 years and frag+mount and set in bleached areas here on the island. We deliver the rock to local dive shops, where mounting classes are presented than local divers seed our bleached areas. Anyone can volunteer here.

That is awesome! Glad you are able to help out the local market and have the time to jump in on a hobby you love.

I appreciate it m8, found two of them. They went into the Mantis Shrimp/Gladiator tank.

Probably need to do a hyper saline dip from now on all the live rock. I get a lot of good critters and junk on our seeded rock, got 2 female and 1 male pistol shrimp from this batch had a pregnant one but accidentally killed her thinking it was a mantis shrimp+3 bristle stars+Christmas Tree Worms Galore+feather duster worms+Tons of Coraline, Amazing Live bacteria. But also I do have 2 visible pinky nail aiptasia, a mantis shrimp "that also went into the gladiator tank" bristle worms and things I'm sure I can't see.
