Hello everyone I have this conch snail which I brought today anyone know what type it is I have a quite large tank 270litres with some hermit crabs in to does anyone have a honch snail with hermits and do they get along okay I have spare shells for my hermits if they need so is there any reason a hermit would fight for its shell? Thanks

Never had an issue with hermits and conchs. Conch snails can move pretty fast if they want, bury in the sand and can some have a sharp spine to use for defence if needed. Hermits normally dont bother them at all.

Picture isn't coming through for me. I agree with @DesertReefT4r my hermits never bothered my conchs (they've been removed for other offenses:D). Conchs are a great part of the clean up crew and are pretty easy to keep/long lived. Some of mine have been with me 6-7 years.
