Conch 'standing' upright - is it normal?

I find my conch in this position every morning. And so far I have been turning him over. Is he getting stuck like that or this is normal behavior and I shoul leave him be.

He's probably just trying to find food. It's pretty normal, especially if there's not a lot of detritus or leftovers in the tank. They can actually climb a little bit and I've never had them get stuck or anything.

Thanks. I've been watching him all morning and he's just standing there not doing much.
I should probably start feeding him dried seaweed.
Anybody knows if it's OK to give them freshwater pleco pellets?

It probably won't hurt anything to tey and feed those, but I wouldn't put a lot in there. Mine seem to eat mostly detritus around the tank. I feed LRS reef frenzy and I'm sure they get some of that that sinks to the bottom. If you have fish, I would try a high quality frozen food. You could also throw some seaweed in there, they may eat that as well.

I've never target fed mine. I have 4 in my 200 gallon display. But I feed pretty heavy for the fish.

I've never seen mine get "stuck"... it may get "temporarily caught between a rock and a hard place" (literally) but it always frees itself. They are incredibly strong, and I'm more worried about it knocking a rock over than getting stuck and not being able to move.

Thanks guys. I had to move some LR to give my conch more room to roam. No fish yet, (tank only a month old) just a bunch of snalis and no QT so I have to wait a while before adding fish. I have some fish food left from my freshwater aquarium so might need to experiment

As long as the ingredients list says it is pure seaweed, then yes.
