Conch/Whelk ID

Hey guys,

Bought a bunch of trochus snails from a local Petco and also picked up this guy as a “cerith” which I know it’s not. Now I know it’s highly hit or miss with these guys so I sumped him for now but figured I’d try to get an ID. These were the best pics I could get and only one of the foot. Also it’s a climber, was caught on the glass in the Petco tank.

It's not a conch (though that's really similar to a conch shell).

Need more white light intensity. Possible conch which on its appendage will have what looks like a claw but is not
