Condy anemone aggressive

Last week I came home from work about 3:45 and I noticed my Helfrichi fire fish wasn’t doing to good. He looked liked he been stung by anemone. Long story short he didn’t make it.
Today I stopped by Petco and got a Royal gamma along with regular fire fish. I believe my condyalutus just ate my Royal gamma. Are condyalutus really this aggressive if it’s not clownfish or damsel?

They have a good sting. My purple tang would get stung all the time. I brought it back to the LFS.
This is how they catch food.

They can suck. My nem tank doesn't have one any more because they don't pay t well with others

Condy anemones do not host clownfish….just eat them

Yeah mine has attached it foot in my live rock aquascape. I don’t feel like breaking it apart to get him out. I had one before in the past and I don’t remember them being this aggressive towards my fish.

You don't have to break it apart to get him out. Just fill it with sand. He will come out. That's what I did.

Not aggressive just a carnivorous anemone doing its thing, natural behaviour. The royal obviously wasn't wise enough to stay away from the tentacles and became lunch I wouldn't say its restricted to the condy anemone either any carnivorous anemone would probably have taken the opportunity.
I have a Ritteri Anemome and I have no doubt that if a fish got to close it could end in them becoming food.

Be patient, it may take some time. Once he is partially on the sand, get your fingers under its foot and massage it up.
Or you could try this. I moved a bbt this way also.
