how large is it? Is it very mobile around your tank or does it mostly stay in place?

Okay, so this is the story.
I got it about 2 years ago and it was a light brown with purple tips. I had it under 175 MH at the time. It slowly turned to a dark brown. I fed it shrimp and fish 2 times a week. Last year I upgraded to led lights. Now you can see it is this dark green color.
It doesn't move a lot. It stays on the same rock its on now but it will go to the top then back to the sand. It stayed on the top of the rock for like 2 months but just the other day it moved back down to the sand. The top of the rock meaning the rock is only 3" tall.
It was about 2" Dia disc when I bought it. Now I'd say about 3" or 3.5" disc. It will reach about 8" away now so it does need some room. It looks massive when it fully inflates, very impressive.

Yes, it shouldn't hurt if you touch it. Just be careful because it will deflate. It will feel like a handful of jelly.

I actually didn't use a glove. It was just fine. The anemone is happy and doing great!
