Condylactis Anemone question

I have a Haitian/Condylactis anemone and I’m still pretty new to reef aquariums but I thought these were supposed to turn purple at the tips? I got it around 3 months ago now and my tank is 7 months old. My parameters are normally stable and correct but I remember the guy at my LFS told me he just got the anemone in and when it’s not stressed out it will show purple. I think it’s looks great but I was wdonering if there was a problem?

It’s most common for them to have purple tips, but they do vary in coloration. Do you have a closeup of the tentacles or a pic of under the oral disc? It does look like a condy, but looks a bit like macrodactyla doreensis (lta). If it has spots like this, it’s an lta. If not, definitely a condy.

If you can see a pattern like below on the tentacles it’s a condy.

I don’t have a pic rn but it does not have those spots, and the tentacles look exactly the same with those patters.

Looks just like my condy in coloration. The tips and i assume the mouth are bright green and fluoresce under blues? mine hosts 2 clowns too!

Yeah super sick under the lights! What’s the deal with the clownfish, all I’ve seen was mixed info on if they will host it, I was going to do some things to try to entice them to host it but I don’t want the clowns dying.

Yesss! Here’s mine (don’t ask me why my phone changed the tint half way…). The orange clown is on the right and black and white on the left on #2 those little bullies have definitely grown on me i’ve only had this established tank for 3 mos & the condy was already hosting when i got it, so i’m not going to pretend i know a safe way to introduce fish to a condy… however based on what i’ve heard, the big female clown was already here, when the condy was introduced ( condy was apparently the size of a quarter!!). The orange clown had previously been hosted, and knew the drill… how big is your condy?

I couldn’t tell by the pics- mine can fill up the entire top 1/3 of the tank if it chooses to stretch out!! next tank will be built around it very soon!!
