Cone skimmer bodies

I figured out a way to make cone skimmer bodies. It works great. They are made from one flat sheet and formed into a cone with a seam. Let me know what you think.

No, I don't want to make complete skimmers they are to much of a hassle lol. I would consider the bodies though.

Great job.... I was wandering if I was gonna be the only one to ever pull it off lol... I just never cared to show how it is actually done out of respect for those companies that do it for a living...

I actually cast my seams so there invisible... Well pretty darn close...

What demensions did you make it???

Jon I use weld-on 40, after it cures I sand the seam in 240 grit to 3000 grit and polished it with a bench top polishing wheel. Troylee, hopefully I don't make any vendors mad I didn't think it was that big of a secret lol. The cone body is 10.75" base 5.5" neck and 15" tall. The complete skimmer is 25.5" tall 10" round collection cup, it a beastly skimmer lol.
