Cone snail? Nassarius?

I added live rock to my mantis shrimp setup today and this guy came out of the rock almost immediately. The shell doesn’t look like nassarius I’ve seen before, so if someone could ID it I’d be grateful.

Looks like a whelk to me, granted a nassarius is a type of whelk. But this looks more like a traditional whelk.

Funny story I have two whelks that were sold to me as nassarius (you can tell by their behavior). They are now in the 15g awaiting their new mantis roommate.
