I have a Purple tang and a Yellow tang in a 100 gallon tank
I have an eel in a rimless tank with no top
I don't test for alkalinity, calcium, nitrates or phosphates
I use a 13 dollar hydrometer to check salinity
I don't quarantine fish
I don't dip corals
I have 2 year old t-5 light bulbs but only half of them

Wow I feel better getting that out

I would never own an ammonia test kit as a matter of bio pride.

My swing arm indicates 024 by a scratch not an ink marking its rubbed off
trendy things in reefing not req'd

No reason to test if your not adding many new corals. Kalk is pretty simple
