Confused about dosing

Our Alk is slowly declining from 9dkh to 8dkh (while dosing 32 ml of Red Sea alk) while Calcium is slowly increasing from 420 to nearly 500 (while dosing 9ml of Red Sea calc)...

My guy says to dose alk only but everything I’m reading says to dose them at the same amounts. What should I do?

No you do not dose those at the samne amount. Red sea does not have a true 2-part dosing system, where you would add equal amounts of alk and calcium. They do this so you can get a more concentrated calcium supplement. It is correct for the red sea line to dose way more alk than calcium.

The best way to figure out how much to dose is test one day without dosing, then test the next day at the same time. This should roughly give you how much you use a day.
