I just got a DP-2 2 head dosing pump to keep up with my magnesium.

Kind of confused by the instructions.
I put in 24 so it doses 24 times a day
I put in 1 so it doses every day

then it keeps wanting times and volumes
so I have to enter the time and volume 24 times?
And if I want to slightly adjust my dosing I have to make 24 adjustments?

That can be right...?

it asks you the day intervals which if you want it to dose every day it should be 1. this is like asking how many days in between the next dose do you want. then it will ask how many times during that day do you want it to dose. then it will create that many time frames so you can tell it what times to dose.

OK, I understand. It just seems very inconvenient to have to make so many adjustments. Maybe I'll have it dose less times a day

1-24 is number of doses.
Interval is 00 which is every day, 01 every other day...etc
Next is the number of ML for each dose
Last is time.

You MUST calibrate each channel, they are not accurate out of the box

That's was an odd thing- I was calibrating and the pump stopped on its own. The instructions seems like I'm supposed to stop when it reaches 100 ml

This is the correct way

In my experience,The Jebao dosers default to 200 revolutions, which yields about 2.5ml when programming 1ml. Why? Maybe bad math.
Calibrate each channel, you should reach 100ml about 160 turns.
Make sure you check the output, if I program 5ml, it dispenses 5ml on the dot.
After programming, pull the plug, then plug back in, make sure all your settings remain.
Some “lose” their ML and calibration info. Return it if it does this.
After a good calibration, mine have run flawlessly for 4 years now and I am happy with there performance.

Jebao programming aside, why are you dosing magnesium spread across 24 hours? One dose per day should be sufficient. Alk and CA spread across multiple hours makes perfect sense. Mg? Not so much.

Because its a dosing pump and why not? I switched it to 4 times a day though to make it simpler.

Hmmm... the calibration in the manual is about the output. it doesn't say anything about revolutions and I wasn't paying attention to that...
