Hi All,
I have a custom made skimmer in my old Red Sea Max 250 that uses two EcoPlus Eco 132 pumps with venturi adapters (don't think they come with the pump - see pic). One of the pumps has quit working, so I need a replacement. When I look at the pumps for sale, they look different from mine, and I don't know if the venturi cover will fit? So I thought maybe I should look for a different pump with venturi build in, but I'm having trouble finding anything. It needs to be a 3/8" fitting that plugs directly into the skimmer (no tube) through some gaskets in the side of the skimmer. Suggestions?
I found this Rio Plus 800 PT Venturi Pump, but I think it has a 1/2" fitting. Could this work? Are there different fittings that can be put on it? I don't really have any room to add adapters... Thanks for any ideas!
Side note, the blue venturi adapter is broken on one of the pumps (won't stay attached reliably), so even if the EcoPlus pump will work, I need to find one of these venturi adapters. Any ideas?
