Ok, here is where I'm at, and I will post parameters at the end.
My zoa's are confusing me somewhat. Some of them seem to be doing great and still look like when I bought them (bam bams & sour suckers & Blondie's), some of them look good but have changed colors (candy apple reds & utter chaos), some have closed up some but still have their colors (rastas & fruit loops), and my vampires in drag have really long stalks and the skirts are really short, and almost retracted.
For lighting, I have an Orbit Marine IC and a 2 bulb T5ho. The IC is set to 70% blue for sunrise/sunset and 100% blue 70% white from 10:15am to 8:30 pm
These are my vamps in drag. They are the highest in my tank with the most flow sitting on the top right structure. This frag started with only 3 polyps.
These are my Bam Bam about 4" directly below the vamps in drag.
About 4 or 5" below and to the side of the bam bams are my Blondie's that started with 3 polyps.
Here are the candy apple reds, that are in the highest spot in the center.
Right below them are the fruit loops. Started with 2 polyps.
And below those are the Rastas
On my left structure are my morphed utter chaos...
And my sour suckers. Both at the same height.
I should mention that my hammer is doing wonderful, fully extended, and sprouting new buds all over their stalks.
Finally, here is a FTS for better perspective.
(All pics are with my ancient, Droid maxx)
All zoa frags are currently growing new polyps or have already grown more.
This is a 29 tall that was transferred over from a 10 gallon. All coral was acquired after the transfer, and the only tank inhabitants are the clown fish, and a fire shrimp, who is hiding at this time.
Current tank parameters are as follows:
Salinity 1.025
Temp 77.8
pH . 8.15
Am. 0
NO3 5
Po4. .1 (currently reducing)
dKH from 7.9 - 8.4
Cal. 470
Mg 1480
Any thoughts or comments ?
