Connect Apex ATO sensors to A3 base unit?

Hello,

I want to have my ATO reservoir further away from my sump, and I was wondering if I can connect the optical sensors/float switch part to the A3 base unit, and have the FFM further away to control the pump (connected w long aquabus cable).
Seems “easy” but does it work and how do I configure it.

You can, you configure it the same way you would if it was all connected to the FMM. I'm not positive the Task will work but manually programming it worked on my setup with no issue.
