So I started on the stand this afternoon. This tank is so nice, I don‘t know why the directions are so horrible. No words, no description on what hardware to use during each step.

The leveling feet on this thing is a pain too. I wish they just used one in each corner. Once you finally get it ‘level’, then the side panel also has leveling feet each side as well.

This is as far as I got today. Hopefully finish it all up tomorrow.

Got it as level as I’m going to get it. Then put doors on. Surprisingly, they didn’t take too much adjustment to get them lined up. Kudos to waterbox for getting the screw holes pretty dead on.

Time to test the sump for leaks!

I don’t know why my wife keeps calling it ‘your’ tank when she’s already picked out the fish that are going in, and the order that they are going in.

Tank finally mounted. Plumbing ran for the drain line. I really like how it comes with a silencer standard. What micron socks you y’all run?

I have a Waterbox 180.5 and run filter floss in place of first sock and 250 micron in second position. Looking forward to seeing your tank come together. Congrats!!!

Holy smokes! That’s like twice the amount of parts that I had!! Makes ikea instructions look like an encyclopedia.

Been a little slow lately. Just ordering equipment. Rocks came in and time to set up the aquascape. Wife wants to help so I’m assuming I can now apply some of the cost to her shoe fund so she can’t complain how much I’ve spent lol. Big shout out to @ARCreef for The great rocks. I sent a picture of what my idea was and they went above and beyond. Even through in some extra acrylic rods. Each rock was individually wrapped. The bottom had carpet pad to protect from drops. ZERO breaks and very clean. Plus its not every day you receive a handwritten note so you know they truly are paying attention.

Right now I have an Im Fusion 20. However I have a 240g (8x2x2) Advanced acrylic tank and sump just have not set it up yet.

That sounds like a blast! let me know if you need any help/manpower when you are setting up your 240 Since you are local.

Built a custom manifold for the ‘box. I’ll probably add uv and a reactor at a later date. Now back to the aquascape
