Connecting ATI Dimmable Fixture to Apex Lite/VDM

Is the "2 Channel Apex to Light Dim Cable" what I need to use between my ATI Dimmable Powermodule and the VDM on my Apex lite?

I was looking at this the other day and I don't think you can do it. ATI wants you to use their dimmer control panel on the light. Although you could probably open up the light and rewire it. I am not 100% on this though.

The dimmable ATI T5 has a built in controller...I do not think I can use on the Apex.

The sunpower have a LCD controller. Power modules have a manual knob
