I am finally getting around to connecting my RODI unit to hard line in garage. I am using a tee stop valve and was reading about connecting the line to RODI unit to the Tee and it was suggested to use a brass sleeve inside the line to ensure the line does not collapse. Is it ok to use brass sleeve inside the line as suggested? The water will be flowing across the brass as it flows to the RODI unit. Kindly give me your thoughts and/or your experiences with this.

This is the valve I am using

It will be fine, you just don't want metal fittings of any kind to contact the rodi water after it's produced. That valve is chrome plated brass itself. Also, make sure to change out the compression ring with a plastic one, a brass compression ring can cut into the plastic tubing. You can get a kit at lowes or home depot that comes with both peices you will need
