Connecting RODI under the sink. Help!

None what so ever. It’s a hallway closet (I guess you could call it that) that has my washer and dryer. It’s a perfect place to mount it and everything but I’d have to bring buckets of water downstairs to do water changes and not to mention the initial fill of the tank

Or run a RODI line to your basement to fill a storage container ;)

My laundry room is upstairs lol.. and I’m renting my house so I can’t really modify it too much lol

Bit of a random question but does your fridge have an ice maker? And is the basement ceiling finished?? With drywall or T bar?

No basement.. it’s a 2 floor townhouse. But I think I see what you’re getting at. Yes my fridge does have an ice maker and yes I know where the line is for it. I could just split into that line couldn’t I?

Yes, yes you could :) it should be 1/4" RODI line as well running into or along the back of the fridge you can run a Y or T 1/4" RODI fitting straight into your system

Yessss... I don’t know why I didn’t think of this. I saw that line on the first day we moved in like 2 weeks ago lol

So I would just need a Y or T with a shut off valve right? Basically just cut the existing line, put the T or Y in and I’m set?

See, tons of options for You, wish I knew the layout of your house a little better would be easier to find a solid solution for you lol. The hot water heater might still work if there's a connection before the tank as well. Maybe grab a photo of the area around the hot water heater as well.

I’ll post pictures of the heater room tomorrow and where the tank is .. I might be able to get both in the same picture to be honest lol

Well tomorrow we can get you all sorted out, just to stew over these are the things you would need for the fridge OR the washer set up. Top grey fitting for washer with valve at the bottom, and the Y and T fittings in the middle....

tank is going to go on the stand in the corner. This picture and the last picture I just turned 180 degrees. And finally, here’s where they have the ice maker line connected in with the heater.

Looks like you can just splice into the line highlighted here which I'm guessing goes right to your fridge... run a waste line to the floor drain that should be in that closet near the water heater and your are good to go

I’m assuming this is the drain right?? There’s nothing else that looks like a drain

Do any of those lines look like a drain maybe going outside? If so I have a piercing clamp coming in the mail tomorrow that I could use for the drain line?
