Iam getting a connectivity error when I log into Fusion. Does the Apex controller have to be hooked to your router?

Do you have a wireless adapter on it? If it isn't connected wirelessly it does need to be hooked to your router via Ethernet.

Do you have a wireless bridge connected to your APEX?

The Netgear WNCE2001 is supposedly the most commonly used adapter and is recommended by Neptune. It's the one I use and so far I haven't had problems with it.

Second that!

You just connect it to your network and plug in the apex with an Ethernet cable. Once that is done open up a web browser and type in the IP address of your apex to connect to the local control pages. If you have a display you can go into the menu and press and hold the select button for a few seconds when it's on the Apex Fusion option. That should give you a code that you can use to connect the apex to fusion.

I should also add that to add the Netgear adapter to your wireless adapter you need to press the wps bottom on the adapter and then press the wps button on your router.

It should be plug and play with fusion. If you want to use the old apex app you will need to port forward. But honestly fusion is light years easier to use and setup.
