When I setup my 125gallon Aquascape 5 months ago, I basically took my 2 biggest dry rocks and put them in the back corners of the tank and then started making "layers" left to right until I ran out of my 100lbs of dry rock.
I currently have my first batch of fish in my 29gallon QT. To have hiding spots, I placed several T pvc connectors in for the fish to hide in. Now that they are getting comfortable they just swim through them constantly.
This got me thinking.... with 6ft of viewing in the DT, I really do not have any "tunnels" or actual "hiding" places for the fish with my LR. The aquascape is basically just a layered wall.
What about placing 5 or 6 3" PVC T connectors in the DT and rebuilding the live rock over and around them?
That way the fish can swim through them and also have plenty of places to hide?
I bought some Artificial corals etc, So I was planning on redoing my aquascape anyways.
