So my wife and I really want one, and what I’ve researched show that most turn out to be model citizens. With my current stock, would I be on the safe side? Or will it eat my shrimp or corals?
125 gallon
Yellow, Kole and hippo tang
2 ocellaris clowns
1 cleaner wrasse
Cleaner shrimp
Blood shrimp
Scarlett hermit
New gsp frag and few new zoa frags

all inverts are full grown

I’ve got a pair of them and they’ve been fine other than the occasional taking crabs ‘tank surfing‘ but of course it always depends on the individual fish

Ive also got cleaner/blood shrimp etc

Post 119 below has a short video of them in action

I love them. I had a pair and one jumped unfortunately. The other one started eating inverts but not coral. We want a diverse reef so we trapped him and traded for more inverts.

I have a male that is great, day one he ate a shrimp and hasn’t touched another shrimp since, model citizen and my wife’s favorite fish. Ours is like a little puppy, always curious.
