Hey guys so as you know I’ve been reefing for a few years now and we’ll I’m considering leaving the hobby temporarily. I’ve recently went through a long ruff path. Corals have died that cost 100,s of dollars I’ve lost 4 fish with in a month 2 from going down the overflow pipes and getting stuck including my favorite fish. And one because of starvation from being a picky eater and the last one from an anemone. I don’t yet have all my equipment as well I’ve been sort of rushing things on this tank and pouring money into it and it’s got me now where. I don’t want to give up the hobby just sell what I have and save for a later time. Right now I keep bees, cats, parrots, dogs, and not to mention work in my free time.

So my question is how much could I get for selling a 75 gallon livestock? I have
55 lbs live rock
45 lbs sand
Toadstool coral
Duncan coral
Mushroom frag
Candy cane frag
Very healthy hammer coral two heads
Long tentacle anemone large
Garnipora large colony
Pandora zoa frag
And a hairy mushroom frag that may or may not be alive.
Gargoinia coral the kind that requires phytoplankton.

Two clowns one midnight and one ocilaris
One coral beauty
Two mollies
One yellow watchman goby
One snowflake eel
Now the cuc are as follows
One grey sea star needs special feeding once everyone three days prefers clams or others meat foods
Blue legged hermit crabs
Red legged hermit crabs
One large thin striped hermit crab
Two flat back mud crabs
Again thank you so much for your help I’ll post more pics when I can

Sell of livestock first. Then the tank and equipment. Honestly don't expect much because most people enjoy building out their own systems so your chance of finding someone looking for your exact setup is not that high. I see people selling 5k setups for 2k and they don't move sometimes.

I’m not selling my tank just the livestock

I've paid $40 for a hammer like yours from someone local. $10 for toadstool. Fish maybe expect $10-$30. Most of the other corals $10-$20 a frag. Goni maybe like $50 if it's a nice one.

So should I even sell if Im going to get back into the hobby?

I wouldn't sell the equipment in that scenario but yes of course the livestock. Even if you have a hard time finding buyers if nothing else give it away or get a few bucks store credit somewhere.

I would suggest to keep it all. Just spend less time on things and see what happens. I did that with my 60 cube. Things went south, lots of my things died due to algae. I would say, sell the fish, let the tank settle out and things will stabilize. Sometimes it just takes time.
