I have a 300 gallon tank and have been dosing Nopox for several months. The tank looked crystal clean when running the Nopox. About 2 weeks ago, I cut off the Nopox and now I have constant green algae on the glass. I clean it off but then it’s back 6 hours later. Is this normal? Anything I can do here?

But... Your still not fixing the underlying problems.
If your tank was your bedroom and the Dog kept on peeing on the carpet you could spray the room with Fabreeze and get some relief from the scent! The day you stop spraying it the scent of 50 puddles will then fill the room.

You need to start looking at your nitrate and Phosphate. They are probably off the chart!
You need to deep clean the Tank and setup an export mechanism for getting rid of what’s left and what will be added later.

UV sterilizer helps with film algae, pretty much clean the glass once a week and it’s minor. What are your parameters?
