Constant Diatoms on my sand bed...?

I would check your source water for silicates and ensure your using 0 TDS water for your water changes, but being so young of a tank it could still be cycling but at 12 weeks, I don't know. What about Cyano and are you getting enough flow along the sand on the sides of the tank? Could be a nutrient issue also if it was cyano.

I've had cyano, about a month ago.. I think there is some type of nutrient. Also some of my rocks have a algae of some sorts.. They look hairy, not green hair though. Just tight to the rock fuzz. Will try to get a pic

Hello Mr. Saucier. Ugh. I am getting hammered by the cyano at the moment. Tank just looks filthy. Although my parameters seem fine. And my livestock is healthy other then this recent outbreak. I thought I was feeding too much. So I have started with cutting back.
