Constant flow or Pilsen wave

Not familiar with the term "Pilsen wave"; did you mean "pulse wave", by chance?
With the return pump always on (of course), that provides some constant movement in the tank. As such, I run my two Gyre pumps on the "Oceanic Gyre Cycle" - which is a complicated pulse wave in order to simulate a real ocean environment,
