Hi All,

I have two questions:
1/My PH varies from 8.5 to 8.6 (according to my Apex). Is there any downside to having such a high PH or should I let it be?
2/Some zoas are open, some are not...All corals were dipped in Coral revive before getting into the tank. All corals have been in the tank for at least 1 months, some 2 months. It seems like they are doing good for the first 2/3 weeks and then start closing.
PH:8.5- 8.6
Phosphate: .09ppm (Hannah ULR)
No3: Waiting for my Nyos test
Alk: 9
Cal: 480
Mg: 1480
Salinity: 35ppm
Run UV 3 days a week
Tank is Red Sea E 260 (no sump): 69Gallons
All for Reef TM 12ml /day
Light program: Ai Hydra 26 x 2 : 11.30am until 12am (30mn ramp)AB+ spectrum(UV: 72%, V: 72%, RY: 75%, B: 75%, G: 7%, DR: 6%, CW: 21%)
Carbon bag from BRS
Purigen bag

Tank is 6 months old, 1% wc every day, fish are fat and healthy. See pictures attached.
Any tip/recommendation would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you !

A pH of 8.5 - 8.6 is not typical in reef aquaria, but it's probably not an issue so long as it is consistently high.

What are the large hoses/tubes that are in the reflection on the glass? One thing that might be driving pH up is a relatively low CO2 concentration. If the tubes are an air exchange system or the building where the aquarium is housed has good air exchange, the pH will tend to be higher.

These are hose for my air conditioner..I never really turn it on as the windows are always open and there is a nice draft

I don't think the pH is the issue. Does it get any higher than that?
Not really..It stays between 8.50-8.60...I also checked if my Apex was calibrated with a solution and all good
