Hi All,

first time poster here on the forum. I do t actually have a problem per se, more of a concern. The ph from my tank is constantly from 8.1-8.4, but my worry is it going pst 8.4 as I am connecting a algae reactor to the tank. I have a calcium reactor but it does not lower my ph. I recalibrated the probe thinking it was wrong, but it’s still +/- 0.05 ph

That’s good to know. Anything in particular I can do to prevent precipitation ??
Well, I wouldn’t do anything unless it becomes a problem, but high magnesium, phosphate and organics, and low pH and alk all serve to reduce it.
