So my sump area is getting filled quickly with equipment and I now have an issue that I cannot seem to solve. I will be putting water in this ATO for years so I am trying to make it easy on me and the GF. I think we are filling the ATO every 3 days and it was easy before we go all the equipment around the sump area. Now we cannot get a tea picture with RO/DI water into the sump, we are having to resort to using measuring cups, 2 cups at a time. I need some type of container with a spout or something so that we can stand in front of the tank and get the water in the ATO, much like a gas can would work.

I hope that makes some sense, it is hard to explain the problem.

I don't think I understand your problem. Why don't you get a larger reservoir for your ATO and put it maybe next to the tank? Refilling the ATO reservoir every 3 days feels like a lot of work to me. I used to fill mine every 2 to 3 weeks and it was a 10 gallon acrylic reservoir next to the tank.
Just a suggestion.

The living room is tight, I would rather top it off myself than have another piece of furniture.

Get a small ladder, 3 rung, thats higher than the ato.
Full a bucket with ro/di and siphon it in.
I do this and it takes a minute or 2 to fill my 10 gal ato.

I totally understand! I have a 5-gallon jug in the cabinet next to my sump, and an ato connected to the over sump container. I just replace the jug, much easier than trying to fill that over sump container. Now my question is how to get that red sea float to operate consistently....
