Container for mixing saltwater?

Quick question, thought these were neat. RODI unit is opposite side of the house from the tank. Would these work for mixing Instand Ocean basic salt? Just don’t want anything leaching in.

Since it's made to store food, I would think it's ok for water as well. The thing you need to watch for us containers that are not food safe.

Have you considered a Rubbermaid Brute trash can? They have round dollies that fit the bottom of the can and make moving 20+ gallons of water a breeze

Thinking about it, while these are safe for water, the wheels might not be heavy duty enough to support the weight.

You’re right, didn’t even think about that. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I just need something thin or rectangular to sit flush with the corner of the room. I might just get the container and get a heavy duty dolly from HomeDepot.
