Hello everyone. Im in the process of setting up my new 125g mixed reef. Going to be drilling for overflow and return so. But I was able to get a good chunk of continental contitech hose for free. I haven’t been able to find any info if its safe for an aquarium. We use it at work and put some pretty harsh chemicals through it with no breakdown so ‍♂️. Thought id ask for input before i contacted the manufacturer.

thanks!

I wouldnt use that contitech stuff for potable water. Iirc its treated to prevent breakdown on the inner lining. We use here @ work for hydraulics on aircraft.

Its gotta be food safe for aquarium use.

And the "aquapal" is the only one continental lists as suitable for potable water on their website.
