I have Apex with the DOS and the Trident. I went through the Task for Controlled Dosing and set the alk to 8.6. It adds alk just fine but does not stop when it hits 8.6, now I'm up to 9.48. What did I do wrong? :(

You can also go into the advanced window of the programming and set another line of code that would say something like:

If Alk > 9.0 then off

That would allow you to have another level of redundancy built in to your programming for the dosing of alk and calcium (if you would add a line of code to calcium level as well).

So I read the summary as that it should not go above 9 for alk, but now I'm at 9.48.

Once you get above 9, it defaults to your standard dose, which seems to be 8ml
