Controller for black box light

What reasonably priced controller is out there that will work with a sb reef sprite. It’s a black box light with dials for whites and blues. Would the Hurricane X work?

In our local club we had a guy who was very handy with electronics and he somehow wired them to his apex. Any reason you don’t just want to use a simple timer for on/off?

I’d like to ramp them up instead just on and off. I saw video where they hooked them up to apex.
