I’m don’t have any aquarium controller or parts. I can’t afford to buy new so used it where it is at. I don’t have much to control but I may later down the line when I plan a tank upgrade. I have been looking at reefkeeper lite plus or apex classic. The price difference is roughly $150-200. I can upgrade parts as needed. Any idea on what i should go with?

I have a reefkeeper lite sitting under the tree that I'm anxious to set up. I have so many plans for it but I'm having a tough time figuring out what it's capable of until I actually get to play around with it. I know they're limited to only 5 modules which could be a bummer. The only thing I'd take issue with as far as your selection(s) goes is that your getting outdated technology. I ended up being okay with the Reefkeeper because it was $90. I think I'd have an issue getting a APEX classic and knowing that I'll never be able to set up that awesome Trident.
