Controlling BRS pumps with Reef Keeper Lite

I need some clarity...

I set up the timers of the two dosing pumps.

So when I go to the 1st input and assign it to Timer #1 it brings me to another option where I have to select a number... what is this? do i just input 1 again?

Its confusing because it seems a little redundant... i already assigned it to timer 1 or timer 2 why do i need to indicate 1 or 2 again? unless I'm wrong.

I have mine set up this way,

For alk,

Timer 1
SMTWTFS
start 11pm
On min
Off min
Repeat count 24
Oscillate off
Random no
Save

Set timer 2 for cal exactly the same if you're dosing a balanced additive.

Then go to modules, pc4, (whichever channel you want to use mine is 3 for alk, 4 for cal), function, multi-timer, (set timer # here), save and make sure you set the channel to auto.

The last step is the confusing one.

After going to multi-timer, i choose the timer (i.e. timer 1, timer 2, timer 3, etc.) then it ask me to choose a number. What's the number?

The timer number you want it to use. Mine asks for timer A, set that as the timer number, timer B leave at 0.

The multi-timer function is just that, a "multi" timer. It allows you to program multiple things to happen so the extra number you are seeing is to add another timer if you wanted to. SInce you are only using one timer, there is no need to reference another one.

Mine is several years old. Maybe they changed now.

if you look at info on the controller it will show the firmware version, can you tell me what that is please?

Also, you may want to look at updating it to the newest firmware as it make the menus easier to navigate.
