I currently have my skimmer and return pump as controllable pumps via the 0-10v cable. These two pumps are also plugged into my Powerbar for controlling purposes ( maintenance mode and then also my skimmer is on a timer for 9 hours a day)

I would potentially like to free up those Powerbar outlets if possible and was wondering if the 0-10v outports would be able to do so.

I can always buy another powerbar just figured worth the try!

Stick them both in a steam group set the mode to be permanent no waves and the. Set your percentages you want the pump to run at.

I do this now without any issues :)

if you need to control each one differently put each one it it own stream group :)

Is there a way to tie the stream group to the timer schedule I have for my skimmer? As of now it’s set up as

“timer 1 ( which is something like on 8 hours off the rest of the time) so the outlet comes on at a certain time everyday to turn my skimmer on.

when my skimmer comes on the stream group currently already controls it ( stream group 1)

I would like to take my skimmer off of my Powerbar ( s4 currently) and have it still work the same way if possible. I don’t know if this is possible tho..

Basically can the 0-10v also control the on and off of the pump? So I can say tie that timer 1 to my stream group and have it turn on and off (maintenance modes as well as timer schedule

@Be102 - This is not perfect but comes close, would need to confirm this :) hope 8 hours is close enough.

Put the three pumps into the Stream group, I know two are not real but need them to do what you need which is a timer.

Then set the Stream group to the below:

the way this would work is the first pump turns on for 8 hours then off, then the second pump turns on for 8 hours then off, then the third pump turns on for 8 hours then off. Then back to first pump.

Maintenance mode would lower or increase the Voltage on the port, feed mode is within the stream group.

The above would be the closet we could get to a timer like function on a stream group that supports maintenance and feed mode. You get night mode for free :)

Ok now one thing, you can not set the time this starts, so when the stream group is saved is when the 8 hours start.

Great ditto! I will try it later on thanks my friend.

I just want to confirm that I don’t need to alternate pumps however. For example I will only be doing this with my skimmer as that’s what is on a timer now ( return is always on except for maintenance)

Will I just turn stream group1 into the settings you listed above?

You need to add 3 pumps to it. So just go to 1-10v Unused ports and take two of them also and add make them part of the stream group.

If you do not then your skimmer will turn on for 8 hours off for 8 Hours then on.

Oh I see.. the timer max is 8 hours. Interesting!!

would it be smart to take my return pump off of my Powerbar and also do something similar but just have it come on and off with maintenance? That and feed pausing.

You can also if you wish, where it could come off the power bar, and then controlled via 1-10 and then just maintenance mode to turn it off :)
