I just have some questions for the tank owners that have their tanks or sumps in non living spaces. ( areas of the house without heat or air). Do you have any problems controlling temperature swings? I live in Nashville so we have very hot summers and moderately cold winters.
What's the best way you have controlled temperature in your tank?

Chillers.

Umm ok do you have personal experience. If so please elaborate. We are talking 110 degrees or more in an unfinished attic during the summer and about 0 in the winter. With a chiller did you have any issues maintaining temps. Do explain Reefing Madness.

I'm going to have tank in a In wall setup the back of the tank in unfinished storage. The sump will be in the garage. Display tank water volume 210. Sump 75-100gallons

is the garage very active with opening and closing door. If it is winter could be an issue trying to maintain temp. Chiller is something you will definetly need for summer months. My chiller is outside and never had an issue but it was built purposely to work outside in winter. Is the unfinished storage area an attic space
