conversion from Seachem Fusion 2 to BRS soda ash

Looking for help on conversion from Seachem Fusion 2 to BRS soda ash. Currently using 15mls of Fusion 2 per day. I am not positive that there is a 1:1 conversion. Thanks in advance

Have you looked at the calculators on the BRS website?

It won't show the the conversion but it will show you their recommended amounts of soda ash to use for a specific result.

There is also this calculator that you might be able to play with to help.

I have, but at this point alk. is stable at 15mls of Fusion2 daily. I will run out of the Fusion2 soon and instead of buying more I was going to switch to BRS soda ash as I have plenty that I use on my display tank. Since I am not trying to change the alk level, I am not sure how to use the calculator to keep things "the same".

I have almost zero knowledge of reef chemistry so take this for what it's worth - I take no responsibility for any errors!

Working backwards the calculator shows that your 15ml of Seachem Fusion 2 is raising you alkalinity from 7.77 to 9. Once this was worked out, I just changed the product to baked baking soda, which I believe is the same as soda ash. This works out as 3.5 grams of soda ash.

Hopefully @Randy Holmes-Farley can double-check this and let you know if there is anything else that might impact this, that I don't know about.
